The first project of Kinship Press, Color Him Father: Stories of Love and
Rediscovery of Black Men, is an illuminating collection of true and
candid short stories about Black fathers in which the authors counter negative
images and stereotypes, and instead, share intimate and loving secrets that
paint a balanced portrait of Black men as responsible, committed, and
productive role models. What emerges is a stirring message of hope that comes
from living, breathing examples. Color Him Father is
scheduled for publication Father’s Day 2006 and includes a Foreword by Haki
Madhubuti.
